Paisajes Sonoros es el primer festival internacional de piano en la ciudad de Valparaíso, y es una iniciativa creada y dirigida por la pianista chilena, Cristina Rodríguez, en asociación con la Ilustre Municipalidad de Valparaíso.
Cristina Rodríguez realizó desde temprana edad sus estudios formales de piano en Santiago de Chile, en el emblemático Liceo Experimental Artístico. Luego ingresó al Conservatorio de la Universidad Mayor donde se graduó con distinción máxima en el año 2011. En el año 2015 fue becada por el programa Conicyt para realizar estudios de magíster en interpretación en el extranjero, donde se graduó también con distinción de la University of York, UK. Siempre en el afán de buscar crecimiento profesional y explorar conocimiento en el extranjero, es que Cristina ha participado de numerosos festivales internacionales, en Argentina, Suiza y Portugal. En el área laboral, se ha desempeñado como docente en instituciones chilenas y extranjeras, además de manejar su carrera pianística de forma independiente, ofreciendo conciertos en distintos lugares, tales como Brasil, Argentina, Uruguay, Inglaterra, Suiza, Rapanui y Myanmar. En el año 2020 lanzó su primer álbum titulado “Pianismo Latinoamericano”, el cual pretende ser una colección de varios volúmenes que reúnan obras de distintos compositores latinoamericanos escritas para piano y cultivar así el gusto por la música docta latinoamericana.

Es para mí un placer volver a esta ciudad después de acumular diferentes experiencias profesionales y contribuir llevando arte y educación musical a la ciudad de una forma pluralista y accesible económicamente que brinde la oportunidad de tener un evento de alto nivel cultural a jóvenes artistas locales y de países aledaños”

ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Paisajes Sonoros is the initiative of the Chilean pianist, Cristina Rodríguez and it will be held in the city of Valparaíso, Chile.
The event will gather a team of wonderful and renowned pianists, from Chile and abroad, who have all contributed in order to create the festival. Students who register to take part will have 6 days of intense and exciting learning, as well as the opportunity to share daily meals, concerts and lessons with all the staff and colleagues, creating friendship and camaraderie in a circle of great professional and human atmosphere.
The festival is divided into two sections: master classes and concerts.
Master classes are open to all the active students, who will have the right to participate in two personalised lessons and can attend the other lessons as part of the audience. The call is open for both national and international pianists.

Any pianist under 18 years old must participate of all the activities accompanied by a tutor, according to the Chilean legislation.
